PRIVACY
A smaller data footprint.
What this website does with data, and what stays outside it.
A showcase, without trackers.
This website introduces our applications. It does not provide user accounts, advertising, analytics trackers, online utilities or a file-upload form. Fonts and page assets are served from the site rather than a third-party font service.
Technical requests.
Your browser shares information such as an IP address, the requested URL and browser details with the hosting infrastructure to load the site. Technical server logs may retain request information for operation and security. We do not use it for marketing profiles. We also count requests to a fixed list of public pages and release files to produce a daily operational report. This statistics log records the time, page or release path, transfer size, response status and whether the request looks automated. It contains no IP address, visitor identifier, full browser identifier or URL query parameters. Known automated requests are excluded from the main counts. These are approximate page and file-transfer counts, not unique visitors or confirmed installations. Statistics request logs rotate after 14 days; aggregate reports may be retained for operational follow-up. No tracking cookie or browser analytics script is added.
The former online tools.
New uploads, document conversions and browser utilities are no longer offered here. Retiring those services does not mean that historical logs, files or backups were instantly erased. Previously stored data remains subject to the existing cleanup and backup processes.
Application data is separate.
UnboxHome’s local vault and your Jellyfin media are not uploaded to this showcase. UnboxHome for Windows and Android stores dashboard addresses, tabs and preferences locally. Vault credentials are encrypted on the device. The master password is not saved. If you enable automatic or biometric unlocking, a derived vault key is kept in the operating system secure storage. WebView cookies and sessions are handled by the platform browser engine.
UnboxHome connections and permissions.
The app connects to the dashboards and services you configure. Those services have their own data practices and may load third-party content. Local network discovery and the optional Homepage companion communicate with your network. QR scanning uses the camera when you choose it; approved device-to-device transfers share selected vault entries over an encrypted local connection.
Update checks request https://unboxtrip.com/releases/unboxhome.json. The request does not include your vault, dashboard address or an app user identifier. Hosting infrastructure receives ordinary connection information such as the IP address. Downloading a release also creates an ordinary web request.
Keeping and removing local data.
Credentials remain on your device until you remove them or delete the application data. Uninstall behaviour differs by platform; Windows data may remain in the user profile. Keep your own backup before deleting data. We cannot recover a forgotten vault password or remotely erase your device. UnboxHome does not add advertising or marketing analytics.
Contact.
For support or privacy requests, email contact@unboxtrip.com. We use your address and message to answer and follow up on your request. Mail is hosted on our Hetzner server, with a copy forwarded to our support inbox provided by Gmail (Google), and may be included in encrypted backups. We retain correspondence while needed to handle the request and any follow-up; you can ask us about access or deletion. This site has no contact form and does not subscribe you to marketing email.
