Requires a 64-bit Intel or AMD PC, Windows 10 version 1809 or later, and Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime. The installer does not include WebView2; if it is missing, install the Evergreen Runtime from Microsoft.
- Download the EXE from this page and open it.
- This early release has no publisher certificate. If SmartScreen shows a warning, verify that the file came from unboxtrip.com. If you choose to proceed, use "More info" then "Run anyway", when offered. Keep Windows security enabled.
- Follow the installer and open UnboxHome. Enter your own dashboard address; your device must be able to reach it.
For an update, close UnboxHome and install over the existing installation using the same Windows account. Keep the existing installation folder to preserve the normal upgrade path.
Install on Android.
Requires Android 7.0 or later. The universal APK includes ARM, ARM64 and x86-64 builds. This release is distributed from our site, outside Google Play.
- Download the APK from this page and open it.
- When Android asks, allow this browser to install unknown apps, then confirm installation. You can revoke that browser permission afterwards.
- Open UnboxHome and enter your dashboard address. Camera permission is requested for QR scanning; it is not required for ordinary browsing.
Future releases use the same signing key and install over this version. If Android reports a signature conflict with an older private or development build, stop: do not uninstall an app containing your vault. Arrange a verified encrypted transfer first. Uninstalling can remove local data and sessions.
Updates stay in your hands.
UnboxHome checks our public version information at startup, at most once every 12 hours, and when you select "Check for updates" in settings. A newer compatible release triggers an in-app notice with a link to this page. You choose when to download and install it. No installation runs silently.
Before you start.
UnboxHome connects to services you already run; it does not host them or provide remote access. Keep a separate backup of important credentials and protect your device. The optional Homepage administration companion is not included in these downloads.
Third-party notices.
The application includes Flutter and open-source components. Their notices are included in its Flutter assets. The release documentation also provides the notices for this version, including the Windows native dependencies.
